Hello Guys, Are there any special tolls or tips for holding very small nuts in place as you attempt to put screw in for headshells? This has always been brutal for me. The Koetsu carts do not have threaded holes, HELP:0)
Mike, it may not look the best but you could put the screw up through the bottom and the nut on top of the headshell. Otherwise I agree it can be a real pain.
I HATE setups like that! I usually use a wrench and a REALLY small dab of glue to hold the nut in place. I also curse and complain about everything while doing it, especially if the nut falls off the wrench and on the floor. Not fun no matter the approach. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
Thanks guys, all good suggestions. I am waiting for a shim from Wallytools and will let you know how it goes:0)
Use a dab of Blu Tak (or similar) to secure the nut to a rigid rod or a small flat head screw driver.
