Is getting St. Lucia’s passport really that easy?

I keep seeing ads about how you can just “buy” a passport from St. Lucia, and it sounds almost too good to be true. I mean, there has to be more to it, right? I don’t want to start the process and then realize I’m stuck in endless paperwork or hidden fees. Has anyone actually gone through this? How smooth is it really? And does the passport hold up when traveling, or do you get weird looks at border control?
