Hey everyone! I’m getting ready for a photoshoot and I’m kind of stressing about how to make the most of my time. There’s so much to think about, from outfits to location. Any tips? How can I stay organized so I don’t waste precious time during the shoot? I’ve heard people mention scheduling breaks too. Is that really necessary? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Honestly, planning is key. The more organized you are beforehand, the smoother everything will go during the photoshoot. When I did a family shoot in Rome last year, the photographer really helped keep things moving efficiently. He made sure we had a clear timeline and even had a backup plan in case of weather issues. One thing that really helped was discussing the locations ahead of time. The photographer I worked with, a fantastic photographer in rome, suggested we pick spots that were close to each other to avoid wasting time on travel. We also had an idea of the shots we wanted to capture, which helped minimize the time spent trying to figure out poses or compositions on the fly. You can find more tips and details from my photographer's website here. I definitely recommend doing some prep, so you're not left scrambling!
