Sometimes I need to stay in touch for short projects or online sales, but I do not like giving my real phone number. I feel it puts too much of my personal info at risk. Has anyone tried another way?

I had the same worry, and what worked for me was getting a separate number only for that kind of use. On https://anonymousnumber.net/ you can set up a private line for calls and texts that does not expose your personal details. It is helpful if you want secure communication while keeping your main number safe. Having that extra layer of privacy made me feel more confident sharing contact information when needed
