Funny how I stumbled into following Suo Chapele’s story. I wasn’t really into women’s sports before, but then I saw some highlights of her games and was blown away by her energy and leadership on the field.

There’s always this unpredictable side to sports that gets overlooked. Even when everything looks set for a player or a team to win, there’s still a bit of chance playing a role. It’s like no matter how much you prepare, the unexpected can flip everything around. That mix of skill and randomness keeps things exciting but also a little nerve-wracking. Sometimes it’s about catching the right moment, and sometimes just luck, which is what makes following any sport a bit of a gamble itself. It’s wild to think about how much effort goes into controlling what you can, knowing there’s always an element you can’t predict. That tension adds so much to the experience, honestly.
