I recently bought VPI Classic 2 that came with JMW 10.5i tonearm and 140g counter weight. I'm trying to move my Benz Ebony cart that was installed on VPI Scout with JMW 9 to Classic 2. The problem I have is that I can't set desired VTF on JMW 10.5 arm. I have to move counter weight right against azimuth ring to get VTF of only 1.8g while my goal is to set it to 2.1-2.15g. That is what I used to have on JMW 9 and counter was positioned pretty much in middle between azimuth ring and end of the arm's shaft.
Considering that JMW 9 counter weight is 120g I expected that I should be able to achieve desired VTF settings on JMW 10.5 with 140g counter weight. Weight of Benz Ebony is 9.6g as per spec.
Any suggestions?
Think of Gauntlets as thematic trials. Each one features five increasingly difficult levels in Geometry Dash that must be completed in sequence.
Best bet is to call VPI and get the right counterweight for this configuration.
