I have a Fatboy Gimbal on a Classic Signature and have been chasing hum/static issues. I think I've narrowed it down to the possibility that the tonearm has lost its ground continuity--assuming its supposed to have it. If it is supposed to have a ground, how do I check it?

Really appreciate this post – super helpful in troubleshooting my own hum issues. This whole process reminds me of playing Doodle Baseball, haha. You keep adjusting, trying different things, and sometimes you whiff completely. But each 'swing' (or in this case, each test) gives you a little more insight. It's all about timing, and learning from the misses. Hopefully, I’ll hit a home run with this grounding issue soon. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge!
