I'm having an issue with my Queing Mechanism not being able to clear the recornd when my VTA is set correctly. In my case I have a VanDerHul Crimson-XGW. To get the body of this cart perfectly parallel to the record surface I have to lower the the VTA so low that the cue won't lift off the record. The result is the Fatboy arm is actually sloping down from the record surface to the piviot point. I have also adjusted the cue to its max lifting point. Am I missing something?

Most VPI Fatboys have a rubber bumper installed on the underside of the tonesrm where the lift mechanism engages the tonearm. These rubber bumpers are available at most hardware stores. You can trim them down to better fit the arm
