Goojara usage safety: Is a VPN necessary?

Since Goojara is a free streaming service, safety and privacy are crucial topics. The content is likely in a copyright "grey area," raising two main concerns: 1. Pop-ups and Redirects: While the player itself is clean, clicking outside it can lead to sketchy sites or suspicious downloads. 2. IP Tracking: Your ISP or other third parties might monitor your viewing activity, which can be problematic depending on local copyright laws. I’m curious: Do you use a VPN when watching? If so, why? Also, what ad-blockers have you found most effective against the intrusive pop-ups and redirects specific to Goojara's hosting environment? Being proactive with security is always better than being reactive.

This is a very pertinent question. I absolutely use a VPN, considering it a minimal, almost mandatory precaution when using any unofficial streaming site. My reasons are dual: Anonymity and Throttling Prevention. Using a VPN ensures that my viewing history is completely anonymized from my ISP, which is key in heavily monitored jurisdictions where ISPs might issue warnings for suspected infringement. Furthermore, I combine the VPN with a top-tier ad-blocker like uBlock Origin, which effectively filters the most aggressive pop-ups and third-party trackers commonly associated with the infrastructure of goojara. This combination (VPN + strong Ad-Blocker) offers both a clean viewing experience and complete security against external monitoring or potential malware embedded in dubious advertising links.
