I’ve been planning a small makeover for my bedroom and I keep going back and forth between different vanity desk colors. Right now I’m leaning toward a white setup because it looks clean and bright, but I’m a bit worried it might get dirty fast or feel too “standard” since I see it everywhere online. I was browsing white vanity desk ideas like https://www.luminapro.co/collections/white-vanity-desks and I noticed most of them are designed to make small rooms look bigger and more open. Has anyone here actually used a white vanity desk long-term and can say if it still looks good after a while or does it lose that fresh aesthetic pretty quickly?

I don’t really have a vanity setup myself, but I’ve noticed white furniture is still the default in a lot of interior design posts and apartments. It kind of makes sense because it’s easy to match with anything and keeps spaces looking lighter. At the same time, I’ve also seen more people mix white desks with darker mirrors or chairs to avoid that overly sterile look. It feels like the trend is moving toward balance instead of everything being purely white like it used to be.
