Old hair dryer performance

My hair dryer is several years old and technically still works. Drying now takes noticeably longer than it used to, especially near the roots. I’m unsure if this is normal wear or outdated technology. Is upgrading to a modern hair dryer worth it for better efficiency?

Totally get it, over time even a working dryer can start to feel slow and less effective near the roots, and that can really drag out your routine. I found that moving to a hair dryer that straightens hair made a noticeable difference because newer designs focus on airflow and heat balance so drying feels quicker and smoother, and it’s definitely worth considering an upgrade for everyday efficiency.
