Do you prefer teas, tinctures, or capsules when using herbal remedies—and why?

Lately I’ve been trying to switch more into natural remedies instead of just grabbing whatever supplement is trending, and I realized there are so many different forms—teas, tinctures, capsules—that it’s honestly a bit confusing. I started with herbal teas because they feel more “traditional,” but sometimes I wonder if I’m actually getting enough of the benefits that way. A friend of mine swears by tinctures and says they work faster, but I’m not sure if that’s just perception. Capsules seem convenient, but also kind of disconnect you from the whole herbal experience. So now I’m curious—what do you all prefer and why? Does the form actually make a noticeable difference for you?

Funny you mention that, because I went through almost the same phase last year. I started with teas too, mostly chamomile and nettle, and while they were relaxing, I didn’t always feel a strong effect. Then I tried tinctures and noticed they kicked in quicker, especially for stress-related stuff. I actually came across this page about Best adaptogens for stress when I was researching, and it helped me understand which herbs work better in different forms. These days I mix it up—tinctures when I want something fast, teas when I want a routine, and capsules if I’m traveling. I think it really depends on your lifestyle more than anything.
