I'm working on a big project on WordPress and for the first time I'm seriously thinking about VPS. Everyone says it's a must-have for developers, but there's too much information and I'm confused. What real advantages do you feel in practice? Help me with some advice - is it worth switching right now?

The main advantages I noticed were consistent performance under higher traffic, better control over server settings, and more security options. It also allowed me to integrate automation tools and CI/CD services at https://artjoker.net, which streamlined deployments and testing significantly. That said, VPS management does require more responsibility—monitoring resources, updating software, and handling backups isn’t automatic like shared hosting. For projects expecting growth or custom configurations, the flexibility and scalability are worth it. However, if your site is small or traffic is low, the learning curve might outweigh the immediate benefits. Overall, VPS provides a lot of practical control, but the timing of switching depends on the complexity and future needs of your project.
