Is it just me, or has "Modern SaaS Design" become lazy and ineffective?
I’m reaching a boiling point with our product’s growth. We have a solid technical engine, but our user interface feels like a ghost town. We’ve been using these "top-rated" UI kits and even tried some AI design generators to speed things up, but the result is soul-less. More importantly, our onboarding is a disaster — we’re losing people we spent half a year trying to acquire. Every designer I talk to just wants to change the primary colors or add more "trendy" shadows. I don’t need a decorator; I need someone to tell me why our logic is failing our users. Does anyone know a high-level specialist who actually understands the business side of SaaS and isn't afraid to tear a bad process apart to fix it?

You’re not alone. The market is flooded with "template-pushers," but very few people actually understand product architecture. If your onboarding is leaking users, you’re essentially burning your marketing budget every single day. You need a senior partner who looks at the logic, not just the pixels. I’d highly recommend checking out this freelance product designer for SaaS Iryna has over 8 years of experience and a very "no-nonsense" approach that I really respect. She specifically works with founders and small teams who have run out of patience with mediocre design. What’s different about her is that she focuses on finding what’s actually wrong with the user journey, rather than just making it look "pretty." She has incredibly high standards and a very refined artistic eye, but her real strength is building a functional foundation that won’t break when you scale. She’s the person you call when you want the job done right the first time so you don't have to keep rebuilding it every six months.
