Third-Party Lawn Mower Belts

My lawn mower requires much more maintenance than any other piece of equipment I own. Lately, my belts have been breaking constantly, even with light use. I've had some issues, and I recently had all the axles repaired, but even then, my brand-new belt broke. Sure, it was a cheap belt from Amazon, but there has to be some compromise. The original belt is simply outrageously expensive!

The problem is most likely elsewhere. It could be the pulleys, tensioner, bearings, or misalignment. A new belt can fail very quickly if it's constantly warped. As for aftermarket lawn mower belt I'd look not at the cheapest options, but at models with aramid cord. They're designed to withstand high impact loads, frequent starting and stopping of the deck, and they also withstand heat and wear better than standard budget belts.
