VPI signature 21 speed
What is the best device to check to speed accuracy on the prime signature 21 without buying the ADS?
The turntable was setup using laser but how I check the speed accuracy on my own? What should I buy? Also does it matter where the belt is rotating on the platter? In the middle? I think the dealer said it will settle on its own.

Do you want to control the speed of the platter or measure the speed of the platter? If the later, a strobe disc is the least expensive option. If you want to control the speed with a higher degree and less variance, a motor controller is the best option.
