VPI Signature 21 Installation
Having received my new signature turntable I'm about to install my Hana Unami RED cartridge.
What is the best video on setting up the turntable. I saw one video and it looks a bit complicated..

Leaving the guard on the cartridge attach the color coded wires first and then mount the cartridge to the headshell loosely. Set the counterweight so it has a slight downward bias on the cartridge end. Put the jig on the table and align the stylus with the dot in the grid on the VPI jig. Line the body up with the grid looking down at it. Tighten the screws and remove the jig. Place the electronig stylus force guage on the platter and set the tracking force at the high end of the recommended range. Everything after this is fine tuning. There are many You Tube videos on this but most of them will drive you crazy. Do what I recommended above and break in the table and arm for a few weeks. Then fine tune.
