After reading the post regarding the "accelerometer restults of the Classic TT" from 2016- which is about the era of my Classic Ani, if they're the same deck then if I hear mine its far higher than -80db.

Thanks for the link. The drive shaft that the pully is mounted to to isn't linear-I see daylight on the side when my micrometer is on it vertically. Does the drive shaft have some sort of alignment mechanism or am I looking at a new motor? Lube down the central shaft didn't quiet it down or make it run straight.

Thanks for getting back with me. I loosened then re-tightened as instructed. Still wobbly. The house was quiet so I noticed that the motor assembly is pretty noisy when running without the belt spinning the platter. I didn't see the drive pulley rubbbing on anything as its centered in the hole. As an aside, should I see daylight when I put some micrometers on the drive shaft inside the pulley when the pulley is removed?
