Unipivots Being Discontinued?
Music Direct is selling a Prime on eBay, and in the description they say that the univpivot design is being discontinued. Is that true?
The Uni-pivot design is now discontinued. This arm is last of its kind. Reference wiring**Arm alone is $2,000.00 retail.

Not exactly accurate. We have shifted the primary tonearm paradigm to a gimbal type bearing. This was from user feedback from both customers, reviewers, and users at shows. In fact, when we made gimbal arms the standard we saw a dramatic decrease in customer service setup issues. Gimbals are simply easier to work with.
That being said, uni pivot is still a production option that can be order with your VPI.
