Mat Weisfeld: Teaching Business Technology with a Hands-On Approach

VPI owner Mat Weisfeld teaches IT-150, a Business Technology class, where he brings his real-world expertise into the classroom. Our recent VPI advertisement and the Capital Audiofest cover graphic were the brainchildren of talented students and young designers. These projects provided them with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to real-life industry challenges, producing professional-grade work that reached a wider audience. Seeing their designs come to life not only boosted their confidence but also underscored the impact of fresh perspectives in the audio industry.

Several of these bright students, including Mat’s daughters, joined us at Capital Audiofest. Their involvement went beyond observation—they played integral roles in ensuring the event was a success.
