Saving the Records at CAF 2025

Earlier this year, our showroom suffered a terrible flood just after our first event in January. Since then, we’ve faced many challenges in recovering and restoring the VPI House. Nearly a year later, we’ve worked tirelessly to repair the damage and save as much equipment and as many records as possible.

Fortunately, most items were off the floor and spared from the worst of the flooding—but many record jackets weren’t so lucky. In our continued effort to support the vinyl community and keep music alive, we’re proud to announce our “Saving the Records” initiative.

Hundreds of records have been carefully cleaned and restored using our VPI HW-16.5 and MW-1 Cyclone record cleaning machines, then re-sleeved in fresh VPI record jackets. While supplies last, everyone attending Capital Audiofest 2025 will receive a free mystery record upon entry.

It truly will be a mystery — the collection ranges from modern music to opera and everything in between! Recordless no more, each piece of music will get a second chance to spin and fill someone’s home with sound.
