VPI Industries is proud to celebrate another successful showing at Capital Audiofest—one of the premier high-end audio events in the country. This four-day experience includes a full day of loading in and system setup, followed by three days of public exhibition attended by press and media representatives, retail buyers, international distributors, fellow manufacturers, and passionate music lovers.

This year, we were honored to bring two Monmouth University student interns with us as part of their IT-150: Business Technology coursework. Andrea Fuentes and Nicholas Moukazis represented Monmouth with exceptional professionalism, curiosity, and enthusiasm. Throughout the event, they immersed themselves in real-world business operations—participating in trade-show sales conversations, hands-on marketing, product demonstrations, POS work, digital content creation, customer interaction, and networking with industry professionals.

At VPI, education and music are core to who we are. Our founder, Sheila Weisfeld, her mother and longtime VPI team member Shirley Green, and our current owner, Mat Weisfeld, are all educators who strongly believe in creating pathways that connect classroom learning with real-world application. Opportunities like these are designed to empower students, build confidence, and give them firsthand experience in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.
Andrea and Nicholas each played an active role throughout the entire show, and their positive impact was felt not just by the VPI team, but by visitors who interacted with them across the weekend. Their dedication reflects the strength of Monmouth University’s programs and the bright future of its students.

We couldn’t be prouder of the work they accomplished, the professionalism they demonstrated, and the example they set. We hope this partnership continues to grow—and we look forward to welcoming more Monmouth University students as they explore, learn, and take their first steps into the professional world.
