VPI and COVID-19

The COVID-19 situation has taken a tole on all of us. At the moment the VPI Factory has taken a lot of precautions as well as followed guidelines by the CDC. We are self quarantined with everyone limiting their access to being home and coming in to work and at this time are still able to continue functioning.

Until further notice we will not have any visitors at the factory or the VPI House for those same precautions. All VPI House Events are cancelled. This situation is putting a bunch of projects on hold since a lot of our partners are closing or having delays because of the situation. In the meantime, send us emails direct messages for any pending issues or order questions.

On the positive side, we are planning to have E-Events and listening sessions via live stream for everyone to enjoy from the comfort and safety of your own home. We have already began live stream videos and are doing the best we can to keep people connected. The best thing to do is to stay safe, spin some records, wash your hands, and keep others around you in mind during this situation.

In the interest of safety during these times, both VPI (retired) Founder Harry Weisfeld and Engineer Mike Bettinger are doing their part from home. Now is not the time to take chances with our loved ones or anyone "at risk".

My 2 cents to fellow business owners and anyone out there. Write off 2020, if it works out later it's gravy. Insulate yourself and your staff as much as possible with the little time you might have left. 2020 is not the year to "make money" it is the year to protect your people. Don't look at what is to come as “end of days”, but tough days to get through! Rely and support your team and don't be afraid to ask them for the same. Now is the time to dip into the savings, safety nets, or other contingency plans to make it through. And don't get into anyone's space if you don't have to. Throw out politics, feelings towards the media, and your own idealism. I don't agree with half the opinions I read on facebook but respect their opinions all the same. Just make it through! We will all recover if we get to the other side. Be safe and smart everyone!
